One of the new value added services that Mountain Mods is introducing to their clients is ability to have your Twice7 case laser etched. The new Laser Etching Service introduces a new form of personal customization by allowing the consumer to have any type of graphical design applied to the triple window configuration. For this review, Mountain Mods was kind enough to add the MTB Logo as well as a "Mountain Mods Custom Made" logo to the left and right side panels. A closer look at the etching and you can see that the edges are nice and sharp and very detailed. I didn't notice any scratches or imperfections with the final product but consumers should note that a clean image should be submitted for a better laser etched results.

The back portion of the Mountain Mods Twice7 Aluminum Cube Computer Case features a standard PSU mount, I/O ATX back plate opening, expansion slots, and a total of three fan mounts. There are dual 80mm fan mounts integrated into the removable motherboard tray as well as rear a 120mm fan mount adjacent to the location of the external 5.25" drive bays. The Twice7 also comes equipped with plenty of expansion room in the form of 7 PCI/AGP slots ready for use. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has been mounted.

One of the nice design aspects of the Twice7 is that the PSU mount is located towards the bottom instead of the top portion of the case. The orientation of the PSU mount can handle any type of standard ATX power supply including units which use dual fan configurations. To access the interior of the Mountain Mods Twice7 Aluminum Cube Computer Case requires separating the one piece "U" shaped top panel from the bottom panel. The top portion of the case does not use a three panel configuration as seen on most cube cases currently on the market. There are a total of 14 thumbscrews (7 on each side) that must be removed in order to access the case interior. I still find this type of set-up a little tedious and would have preferred removable side panels. The one piece "U" shaped top panel does not use any clips or hooks to keep it in place, rather it sits comfortably on top of the case chassis and is held in place by the thumbscrews.
