On the MountainMods website, there is an emphasis on extreme performance and it seems that the U2-UFO Aluminum Cube Computer Case has been designed behind this philosophy. The entire fan configuration on this case has a staggering nine fans with four 120mm fans located on the front bezel. The four 120mm fans will provide all the air intake circulation required to cool any type of complex computer configuration. Consumers looking to use all four fan mounts should seriously consider also using a fan controller to adjust the noise levels. Towards the right side portion of the case are five external 5.25" drive bays, if you look closely you'll notice that 3.5" external drive bays are absent from this configuration. There is also no drive bay covers included with the U2-UFO Aluminum Cube which would have been a nice addition to keep the overall theme of this case universal. I did do a test fit with a spare 5.25" Lian-Li drive bay panel and it does work with and match this case perfectly.

To simplify the installation of optical, fan control or storage devices, MountainMods has also included tool-less design features in the U2-UFO Aluminum Cube Computer Case. The external 5.25" drive cage is removable held only by six chrome thumbscrews. Once the thumbscrews have been removed, the drive cage easily slides out for installation or new components or maintenance.

Towards the middle portion of the case are the chrome LED placements for Power and HD as well as an oversized Power and Reset button. The buttons themselves are nickel plated Antivandal switches that are of high quality. The two switches and LED holders are wired from inside the case using standard 2-pin headers. The 2-pin headers are not labeled but connecting these switches to the appropriate motherboard headers should not be a problem.
